I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and Specialist Degree in Education. I taught english and reading for ten years and was a literacy coach for five years; in this position I coached and taught teachers how to be most effective in instructional practices in in the teaching or reading and writing. Also, I have successfully taught english and writing to Chinese students for the past four years via an online platform. Lastly, I have been an Assistant Principal of a middle school for the last eight years where my focus of teacher development and evaluation is in the subjects of reading and english.
Each week the student will be given a writing prompt to respond to, and will be asked to use the strategies and skills from class to write a paragraph. I will grade the writing, provide detailed feedback, and then cater the next class to the needs that are seen from the graded paragraph.
