My experience as a classroom teacher and as a tutor have provided me with ample opportunities to help students through the process of literacy development. Maintaining my professional teaching license involves ongoing professional development, which has included many literacy trainings. Most recently, I completed a week-long in-person training that followed a 30 hour online training that focused entirely on foundational literacy development.

Homework Offered
To reinforce the skills learned during the tutoring sessions and encourage independent practice, optional homework suggestions may be provided. These assignments will be designed to align with your child's specific needs and allow them to apply and extend their literacy skills outside of our sessions. The optional homework provides an opportunity for your child to further enhance their literacy abilities at their own pace.
