This is a one on one private tutoring class for reading.  The leaner will read out loud to the teacher.  I will assist when the learner is struggling to read.  I will ask questions throughout the reading. I know that many learners like to read but struggle with comprehension.  I will assist with any comprehension struggle. My goal is to help the learner read with confidence.  Also, I want the learner to understand what they are reading.  Parents are encouraged to reach out to me with any concerns and goals they have for their learner.  I am here to help fill in the gaps for learners and their parents.  I want to encourage the learner  to read, and enjoy reading.  Therefore, the learner may read what they want or parent suggests.  I will have plenty of books on hand as well and offer suggested reading.  This class is more of a student lead with teacher guidance format. I do offer reading, writing, ESL, and ELA tutoring.  I will give parent feedback on learner's progress.  I will use Reading IQ via screen share.  Reading IQ is apart of the ABC Mouse program.  It offers books by grade, guided reading level, Lexile levels and much more that I can apply.  I have standard reading books on hand as well.  I am offering sessions at a lower price in hopes that this will help families fill in needed reading time.
