US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
This is an ongoing tutoring class for children between the ages of 4 and 7 years old. This class meets once every week for 25 minutes. The topics I am tutoring include reading, writing, and using sight words in sentences, letter sounds and recognition, and basic math skills(counting, adding, subtraction, shapes, colors, or patterning). We will also work on vocabulary, sentence structure, and verb usage through a variety of games, writing, drawing, and conversations. If there is an additional topic you are interested in, please feel free to message me and I will be more then happy to try and help if I can. Upon registering, I would like to ask that you please send a message with the topic you would like me to focus on so I can create a specific fun and educational plan for your child. Thank you.

I have been teaching for the last 27 years in a variety of settings. I have worked with children 3 to 12 years of age. I have created curriculum for 3-6 year old's, tutored, been a nanny, an assistant director, assistant teacher for early learners in the school district, and taught English (ESL) online. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology. I love to find creative ways for children to learn and have fun! I believe children learn best through a variety of means including: repetition, writing, movement, creativity, socialization, fun, and a positive attitude. If I do not know the answer to a child's question, I will research it and let them know. Knowledge is a powerful tool that can create a spark for future learning and life adventures.
