For over a decade, I served as a public school music teacher for the performing arts and academic music. I have taught from preschool through high school, including 5th—8th grade. My work has received multiple award recognition in the form of grants and non-profit organizations. I hold a bachelor's and master's degree in music.

For the next decade, I have lived experience at a Fortune 500 corporation as an account manager and project manager serving the government sector, focusing on the emergency management industry. I hold various certificates notable in the field of business, such as the PMR from Project Management International and Toastmasters International. Additionally, I have been a leader and competitive speaker with Toastmasters International.

Volunteerism is important to me and I work with a non-profit organization to mentor, coach, and guide the growth of college students for development of crucial conversations and financial management.
