Description
Class Experience
Students will learn public speaking by getting quick and easy tips on practicing incorporating body language into presentations, and much more. The class is going to begin with a short introduction to public speaking skills. With the right amount of time and practice, you will be sure to see improvements in your child’s ability to communicate and an increase in their confidence. Each student will have various exercises in class to practice. During class students will be ask to actively engage one another.
I am offering this class because I enjoy helping people with issues with public speaking get past the fear and hesitation of public speaking. I have taught this for many years. I pride myself in my abilities to help people learn the skills needed to bridge the gap between good public speaking and great public speaking. I have a unique way of connecting with people. I making others comfortable and confident in their ability to learn and execute.
I will ask each student to make a short video to send to me each week so I can help them improve on their presentation. Each video needs to be submitted prior to the next class to receive feedback. Students are still encouraged to send a video but will only get feedback if it is submitted on time.
At the end of this session each student has the option of completing a video and sending it to me so I can offer feedback. The goal is to make each student comfortable and confident.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
