Students will work on whatever communication or acting skill they would like to during this 45 minute lesson with Erin Coley, M.Ed, professional actor, director, speaker, and writer. Parents, please clearly state what skills you would like to work on during this lesson in advance so materials can be prepared and any pre-class homework may be sent to the student. Options for a 45-minute lesson include (but are not limited to) 1-on-1 support in: - Writing a short speech (prepared or impromptu) - Delivering a speech - Choosing an appropriate monologue or musical theatre selection (typically for an audition) - Delivering a monologue or musical theatre selection - Speech and Debate areas (Dramatic Interpretation, Extemporaneous Speaking, Humorous Interpretation, Original Oratory, Oral Interpretation) - Speaking with inflection and expression - Speaking with confidence - Acting with confidence - Writing a creative story - Researching and writing a research paper - Goal setting - English language development - Homework help in English, Writing, or Speaking
