Class Experience
In private lessons students have the opportunity to receive undivided support and attention to hone their language skills in interpretive communication, interpersonal communication, and presentation communication. I believe full immersion with infusion of cultural fun facts, youth culture, manga and anime help students stay focused and interested for the entirety of a 25 minute lesson. This private tutoring is meant for students that want to target specific areas which need growth. These sessions are only for 1 student and intense focus is on discovering the areas in the students' language skills that need to be strengthened in order to become a confident language speaker. Carefully individualized notes and helpful links to resources are provided for each lesson.
Certified teacher for Japanese (EC-12), Mandarin(EC-12) and Art(EC-12). I grew up speaking Japanese, Mandarin and Taiwanese, so I have no problem mixing them up to meet your need. Many years of freelance tutoring experience for Japanese and Mandarin have helped me teaching all levels of Japanese including Pre-AP and AP classes at my former employment at a public high school.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
