We will explore reading and writing techniques, then put them to practice. Prior to our meeting, I will send you a survey to get to know you, your learner, and what you would like to accomplish during your time with me. This is a class for YOU and YOUR learner! I strive to address any and all concerns you may have with your student's learning and tailor each session according to your goals.

My teaching style is laid-back and warm. I meet your student where they are in their learning journey and adapt as needed. Your learner wants to chat about a cartoon that they find interesting? SURE! We can - and I'll quickly adapt our lesson to include that character. Your child has trouble focusing on our task for the day? No worries! We can explore their thoughts and bring the lesson back to center while including the very thing that got them unfocused to begin with.

There are many ways to engage learners. I take the time to incorporate these many ways into my teaching.

Learners and parents will get to interact with me one-on-one and can have access to me on Outschool to ask any questions and request additional materials for home study (for the duration of the course).
Learning Goals
Learners will enhance their phonics skills in an environment that is dictated by them. The pace of the class moves and flows according to their level, engagement for the day, needs and goals.
