This course is a 1-on-1 lesson to help students improve on their singing abilities and build repertoire.
Class experience
In this 1-on-1 lesson, I will begin by assessing vocal range. We will then pick a song that will suit the student's voice and range and work through it for the duration of the lesson. As we work through the song, we will work on technique, diction, music theory, dynamics, and the way we can express emotion through all of these details. This class is taught in English.
Students will learn vocal technique (including voice placement, vowel shapes, vowel modification, breath support, posture), diction, elements of music theory, dynamics, and elements of lyric analysis.
I have 4 years of experience teaching private voice lessons to students from age 8-30. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music, and I am currently attaining my Master of Music in Music Education.
Homework Offered
Learners that attend the class every week will be expected to practice the song that was worked on in the previous week, utilizing what was discussed and any notes they may have taken.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
