Students will learn how to complete algorithms for solving math problems. Students will improve in number sense and mathematical thinking and learn how to solve word problems and math puzzles. Students will build confidence in multi-step problems and word problems. Students will improve their reading and literacy skills. Students will build vocabulary and become stronger writers.
Master's degree in education (M.Ed.) Classroom teaching experience including core subject areas of math, pre-algebra, algebra. Over 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring. One on one tutoring experience with students struggling with math concepts and problem-solving skills. One on one and classroom experience providing enrichment for advanced students.
