Homework
1-2 hours per week. Reading from the book: "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Book 5, The Last Olympian"Class Experience
Each week the learner will come to class prepared by reading the assigned chapters. We start by summarizing the chapters. The learners will then discuss what they liked and did not like from the weeks reading. We will talk about our favorite characters and their Heros journey. I will have questions that are meant to inspire discussion. The learner is welcome to ask their own questions. If the learner wants their camera's off during class that is fine with me as long as they turn on their camera when entering the classroom. Week One: Read chapters 1-5 before class. During class we will summarize chapters 1-5 and participate in discussion questions. Week Two: Read chapters 6-10 before class. During class we will summarize chapters 6-10 and participate in discussion questions. Week Three: Read chapters 11-15 before class. During class we will summarize chapters 11-15 and participate in discussion questions. Week Four: Read chapters 16-19 before class. During class we will summarize chapters 16-19 and participate in discussion questions. Week Five: Read chapters 20-23 before class.
