I hold a bachelor's degree in Middle-Level Education with a specialization in mathematics. My passion for helping students succeed in math has guided my career for the past several years. I’ve been tutoring math for over five years, working with students at various grade levels to strengthen their understanding of key concepts and build their confidence.
I have three years of teaching experience across grades 5-12, allowing me to adapt my instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners at different stages of their math journey. During this time, I also served as a math intervention teacher, where I worked closely with students in need of additional support by pushing into classrooms and providing targeted, one-on-one or small-group instruction.
This combination of classroom teaching and individualized support has given me valuable insight into how to identify and address learning gaps, challenge advanced students, and make math engaging and accessible for all learners.
