Solo techniques, Chords, picking techniques, scales, songs/tunes, and much more! My teaching philosophy is based on fundamentals that will apply to any genre, but catering those fundamentals to each student's personal goals, skill level, and learning style. I encourage all of my students to share their personal inspirations and musical heroes. This makes them feel more ownership over their learning, but also allows me to cater our lesson material to help them feel like they're making progress in something they're passionate about. I also suggest weekly listenings so as to expand the learner's musical vocabulary and knowledge. Take this class if your learner wants to improve their guitar technique and knowledge in a fun environment. I have a bachelors degree in jazz performance, so I have experience with the collegiate process and what it takes to audition and go through a degree program if thats something your learner has aspirations to.
Learning Goals
Mapping out the fretboard, picking technique, scale knowledge, chord shapes, ear training, chord progressions, and much much more.
