1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Students will be taught based on their current level. I will consult with parents to locate an accurate beginning point for our classes together (brand new beginners welcome!). Classes will include theory instruction and activities as well as playing opportunities. I teach with an encouraging approach- my goal is always that the students have positive associations with music that they will take with them. The primary benefit of 1-1 lessons is that I can tailor our lessons to my students particular needs. If your child needs to move around a lot to stay focused, I will incorporate that. If your child really enjoys coloring, I will use that to teach theoretical concepts. If your child requires structure, I can design practice schedules for them.
Learning Goals
Students will leave with particular pieces that they we have learned together that they can take with them to practice on their own time. Students will learn theory associated with the songs they are learning. Students will then be able to follow up with additional lessons if desired.
