Class Experience
This private ongoing class will assess learning gaps, or challenge advance students with enrichment. We design a program specifically for your child using multi-sensory techniques, think: numbers to pictures, or songs to helps you remember, or touching manipulates to help you feel the quantity, or we can simply assisting you with your homework needs.The flexible schedule will allow you to come and go as you need help, or help you to get on the road to mastery proficiency. Students will be trained to use strategies, like using the units, or drawing a picture, or add doubles and adding one ..etc. These math skills and strategies to help with problem solving whether it is for class or homework.
We are Canadian Nationally certified teachers that have taught and tutored for over ten years, teaching elementary and middle school math. Our teaching style uses positive reinforcement, repetition, and review to help students master challenging material. We collaborated with students to complete homework assignments, identify lagging skills, and correct weaknesses. Explained math concepts in a caring and encouraging environment to help students thrive and learn. Provided meaningful math instruction to improve math skills of students.
