In this personalized class, your student will receive individualized language tutoring in vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading comprehension, and/or social skills. My classes are neurodivergent affirming and student-led.

This 1-on-1 tutoring class is designed to work with your child where they are. It is neurodiversity affirming and great for students with unique learning needs, including ADHD and ASD. Lessons will be personalized based on the skills that will benefit them! To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.I'm a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with 11 years of experience. I specialize in language-based skills.
This class is being led by a school-based SLP. I work primarily with students who have unique learning needs, including language delays, ADHD, and ASD. I'll bring my knowledge of individualizing lessons to these tutoring sessions.
If it works better for your student and/or the topic, printable materials can be provided before the lesson. You will need a printer to print these materials if that is the case; however, printable materials are absolutely not necessary for these lessons! If we choose to include printable materials, you will need basic school supplies, such as writing tools, scissors, colors, etc...

All lesson materials will be shared with students using screen-share tools. Students will NOT be sent to third-party websites on their own browsers. Although my lessons are very student-led, I adhere to a "school appropriate" rule when letting students suggest topics and games. In addition, the first meeting will be planned by me. At the end of each lesson, I will ask students for topics of interest. These topics will be shared with you before the next meeting so that the topic can be cleared for use during the next lesson. If the topic is not cleared beforehand, I will plan the next lesson based on previously cleared topics and/or needs.
I frequently use content from Wonderopolis, ReadWorks, and BoomLearning. I also use YouTube with a Premium account so that there are no ads.
