Class Experience
Welcome! These one-on-one sessions will cover content specifically catered to each scholar's needs. I focus on building confidence and accuracy and getting to a place where scholars can confidently complete math problems independently. Scholars may opt to review homework together, work ahead based on certain standards, or even receive generalized help depending on their grade levels. Scholars will learn and review math standards based on their grade/ability level for the elementary-middle school age range.
I possess a Master's degree in Education. I am certified in Executive Functioning, Math Intervention, Literacy Intervention and in Learning Differences. I possess the appropriate tools and strategies to encourage learning for a variety of learning styles. Within brick-and-mortar, I help to ensure student needs are met through IEP and 504 sessions, and work with other instructors on how to best structure inclusive classes and small group sessions for Exceptional Children and those who need extra support with Executive Functioning.
No homework assigned.
