Homework
1-2 hours per week. Depending on the workload the student has, I will assign around 1-2 pages worth of homework (I will assign more based on the student's and parents' wishes). These pages will cover what we have gone over during the lesson as well as what the student is currently learning in class.Assessment
Depending on the timing of classes as well as the student's progress, I will be handing out a quiz once a week or every other week. With this, I will be able to gauge how well students are doing currently and see if they are retaining the information that I have taught them. There will be some problems that I will have written myself while other questions may be ones I have found online. There will be a short time limit (around 20 min) in which they will be able to work on the quiz and I will have an answer key ready to go over the problems with them.Class Experience

Within these 1-on-1 tutoring sessions, I will be sure to make the first class more of getting to know how your student works and see what their thought process is like when they are doing work. While also teaching a lesson, I will be sure to construct a personalized and detailed lesson plan for your student in order to make sure that the learning process will go on very smoothly. I am open to teaching all math subjects K-12 which include: elementary math, middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, AP calculus AB/BC, and statistics. To catch up to what the student is doing in school, I will be sure to go over what they are currently doing in class as well as get a head start as to what they will be doing in future classes. My teaching style is very personalized meaning that I will get to know your student's learning style and structure the whole lecture in a way that will be comfortable for them. Students will be doing practice problems alongside me and then journey into problems on their own while also being able to ask questions and discuss with me on their progress.
