Welcome to a personalized math time! Enroll and get the support you need to stay on top of your math skills and achieve a stronger understanding. During our time, using a full curriculum format, we will practice building on what you already know explore the best math strategies, discover various ways to think, process, and solve math problems. We will work with number sentences, different equations, and real-world number stories to be sure opportunities to make connections and develop tools vary. Flexibility with math strategies and tools will aid in your growth as a mathematician. Students are highly encouraged to ask questions as they will be coached with guiding questions to promote thinking, asking, and discovering deeper understandings of math. Join and let's work together to build on what you already know! *If your child enjoys learning in small groups, I offer a 35-minute doubles session (max. 2 learners) for $40/pp and a 45-minute triplet session for $35/pp (max. 3 learners). Learning Goals
Students will be able to develop from concrete to pictorial understanding to abstract thinking around math topics and improve their flexibility in applying various effective math strategies to help navigate math in this class and in the world around them . Students will have opportunities to practice a math concept and many opportunities to engage through sharing and asking questions.
