The curriculum options are flexible, covering but not limited to Beast Academy, Singapore Math, AoPS, Common Core, local standards, and contest math preparation (Math Counts, AMC 8/10, Olympiad, and more), ensuring each student receives targeted support based on their unique needs and goals. Lesson Structure Each session follows a clear, structured approach designed to maximize focus, engagement, and comprehension: Warm-Up (5 minutes): A quick, confidence-building review of recent concepts to help the student feel prepared and settled. Main Lesson (15-20 minutes): Individualized instruction based on the student’s current learning goals, incorporating hands-on activities, visual aids, and step-by-step explanations to make math accessible and enjoyable. Practice and Review (5-10 minutes): Guided practice to reinforce new concepts, ending with a brief review to assess understanding and celebrate progress. Special Support for Unique Learning Needs This tutoring program is intentionally designed to accommodate special learning needs, including but not limited to ADHD, Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, and ASD. Multi-Sensory Instruction: Visual, auditory, and kinesthetic methods help reinforce math concepts in ways that are engaging and meaningful. Adapted Pacing and Support: The tutor adjusts the pace and complexity to suit each student's processing speed, providing ample time for understanding without pressure. Structured and Predictable Routine: Each session follows a consistent routine to create a sense of security, making it easier for students with attention or anxiety challenges to focus. Short Breaks as Needed: To maintain concentration, students are given brief mental breaks when needed, especially beneficial for students with ADHD. This individualized, professional support empowers students to build foundational math skills, advance to more complex concepts, and approach math challenges with confidence, setting them up for ongoing success in their learning journey.
