During each class I will evaluate and take parent input on what your child needs to work on. Each class is personalized to meet your child's needs. I also enjoy seeing what your child is working on in school-- if applicable. I love communicating with parents to help my students to grow and learn.

Students will be using various technologies, as well as manipulatives to aid them in learning. I will also use music and songs to help students remember concepts being taught. We will play games and practice writing words together. We will also read books together and use the new skills that the student is learning in that class. My classroom will always be engaging and fun.

I hold a reading endorsement, as well as my teaching license, since 2009. My responsibility is to provide literacy assistance to my students to become fluent and confident readers. I am a creative and enthusiastic teacher and happy to meet your child where she is in her journey to becoming a reader.

The teacher will meet the student where he or she is in their reading journey. It is preferred that the learner knows all his letter sounds and is able to write his letters correctly. I will assess where your child is and use my knowledge as a reading coach to help your child be a successful reader. I am also hoping to impart the love of reading with each of my students.
