In these ongoing 1-on-1 sessions with a multi-certified teacher, students will receive targeted instruction to grow as a mathematician. All students are welcome! Certified in special education and gifted and talented.

Assessment
Students' current skills in math can be assessed during the first session if agreed upon by the parent/guardian. Informal assessments will take place throughout each session. Formal progress monitoring can be requested.Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 5
During this ongoing tutoring class I will provide your student with personalized high-quality math instruction to help them improve their skills in math as well as their confidence. I will work one-on-one with your child to identify their strengths and areas for growth. I will then tailor the content and activities around their needs. Tutoring sessions can be focused on fixing misconceptions, building fluency, continuing practice of new concepts or helping with homework challenges. I believe that everyone can be a confident mathematician and believe in taking the time to help students learn the strategies that work best for them. I have taken students from struggling learners to lovers of math through positive mindset and personalized instruction. So whether your learner is struggling with a particular math concept or just looking to improve their overall math skills, I invite you to sign up. I specialize in learning to read using techniques based on the science of reading. I also love to support students in math by finding the techniques that work best for them.
