In this on-going/subscription based class I will work with students individually on various skills as needed for homework help. Bring your schoolwork/homework, and lets work together to understand it. A few examples of what I most commonly help students with: decoding, reading comprehension, reading fluency, math computation, word problems, grammar support, writing a detailed paragraph, etc...
I have many years of experience working with students throughout elementary and middle school. It is my goal for students to enjoy our time together and learn from each other.  

Please note: Communication between parent and teacher is vital when working with students for tutoring or homework help. Please communicate with me your expectations and needs when it comes to your child's success. This is not meant to take up a large part of your time; just send me a brief message of how I can help your child most during our time together as needed weekly or monthly. 
Example: This week my child will be bringing a book he/she is currently reading and needs help with fluency OR This week my child will be bringing a math worksheet we have been working on. He/She will need help with multi digit addition OR My child is struggling with writing a detailed paragraph, can you help him/her this week? 
These specific points will help me to come ready to class to help with the specific skill needed. My hope would be to build a relationship in our weekly class time together and the student will know that I am an extra resource for their needs.
