Class Experience
Whether you're navigating the complexities of AP US History, unraveling the mysteries of ancient civilizations, or exploring the intricacies of European empires, this 1-on-1 class is your ultimate guide. Get personalized support tailored to your unique needs and conquer history like never before! Sign up now and embark on an epic historical adventure! 🌍💡 This is a private tutoring session intended to support a student through world, US, or European history study, AP US, AP World, or AP European test prep, history essay writing, or a research project. This option will provide students with support and discussion in various levels of essay writing, AP writing, or research projects, as well as tutoring support in history class content. This tutoring session will vary weekly according to the student's needs, but will review content and writing strategies, as well as preparing guidance for the student as the learner studies and works to improve writing and comprehension skills. This class will meet weekly with outside resources provided for each step of the study process. This session can cover US History, European History, or World History. Please contact us directly to discuss your student's individual needs. We are available to work with any level learner on specific projects or skill-based learning. My name is Teacher Linford and I love to see students connect deeply with their studies while having fun in the process. Originally from the rolling hills and small market towns of central Pennsylvania, my education journey has taken me from studying at Millersville University (BA History and German) to Northwestern (MA History) and Yale (MDiv Religion). Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to immerse myself in German culture in Mainz and Berlin, study Dutch in Leiden, and teach international students in Jerusalem. Since then I’ve taught hundreds of middle school and high school students. I find joy in seeing learners transition from self-doubt to the confidence that comes with comprehension. My hope is that we ask the "why" questions not only of our studies but of our own contexts.

Hello there! My name is Teacher Linford and I love to see students connect deeply with their studies while having fun in the process.
I teach classes in History, German, ELA, Standardized Tests, and College Applications.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting, watching TV, and learning languages.
