Class Experience
In this class, I will work one-on-one to help my students turn what they perceive as weaknesses into strengths. After all, the first step to overcoming a challenge is to recognize what challenges us. I have experience helping students with dyslexia, synesthesia, and memory management. I use the RTI (Response to Intervention) model to help my students strengthen their confidence and their skills in the English language. I have a few experiences that I hold dear to my heart. I have a degree in science and a degree in math. At the moment, I am receiving my third specialty in education. I dedicate much of my time to doing scientific research and keeping up with tried and proven scientific methods that help students become stronger readers and writers. I have received extensive training to help students with dyslexia, synesthesia, and memory challenges. I have worked with students in grades K-12 and with students in higher education settings.
I will send students worksheets to help them practice the skills we are learning in our tutoring sessions (optional for parents).
