Class Experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
In this fun and interactive one-on-one class, your child will receive my individualized attention as they learn how to practice gratitude and develop the tools they need to have more confidence, emotional intelligence, and resilience. This class is designed to nurture your child's self-esteem and foster a positive mindset. In each session, I will guide your child to help them reflect on their day and to focus on the positive things that happened that day. Children will learn to appreciate themselves, appreciate what they have, and build stronger, more empathetic relationships with those around them. Teaching young children about gratitude is crucial for their emotional and social development. It is a useful skill to have and use every day. Research shows that children who practice gratitude are happier, more empathetic, and more connected to the world around them. I am focused on creating a nurturing environment in my class, where your child will feel comfortable exploring their strengths and building their self-esteem. My teaching style is patient, attentive, and encouraging, making sure that your child feels supported along the way. Because this is a one-on-one class, I will be working only with your child, catering my lessons and activities to your individual child's age and needs. I make sure the class experience is fun and dynamic by incorporating interactive games, playful activities, creative projects, and movement into each class. Through these engaging exercises, I help children identify and appreciate the positive aspects of their lives and encourage children to focus on what they are grateful for, thereby reinforcing a positive outlook. We also explore different positive affirmations each week, such as "I am brave", "I am kind," and "I am loved," and engage in creative activities that help children internalize these positive messages and boost their self-esteem. Children will be prompted to reflect on their unique qualities and will gain a deeper understanding of and appreciation for their value and strengths. I can't wait to meet your child and help them get started on their gratitude journey! ~ Ms. Madeleine
