The goal is for you to leave this class knowing more than you did than when we first started, and feel more confident about your ability to learn new skills as an artist. 

I have struggle with ADD and Dyslexia my entire life, so I completely empathize with my students who have these same learning challenges. I have overcome them myself through the help of other people as I've grown into an adult, and through being patient with myself. Learning disabilities do NOT have to hold you back or define who you are. I am here to show my students that they can be successful artists too, despite learning challenges.  
 
Those who know me best say that I am the most patient person they know. I take pride in that, and I use that gift to the benefit of all my students. Learning takes time, and that means we must be patient with ourselves and with others.  I'm here for my students, and we may not get there "fast", but we WILL learn.  And that is a WIN in my book!  :)

In this class I will support learners with learning needs such as ADHD or Dyslexia. I too have faced challenges in my learning journey, and empathize very much with my students. My classroom is a safe place for all learning levels.

There are no prerequisites for this class. I will class by asking you a few questions to identify your specific area of struggle, then create a path for us to move forward from there.
