Class Experience

Beginner Level
This ongoing coaching tackles anger and frustration in an informative and relatable way. The personalized nature of this one-on-one class allows for individualized lessons. Topics can include: 

-Explaining what anger is
-Providing information about anger being a secondary emotion
-Explaining that different triggers can lead to angry feelings
-Teaching about common anger body cues that many people experience
-Discussing different ways in which anger can be measured
-Teaching coping strategies for managing anger

The coaching sessions will be a nice mix of visual presentation, discussion, and interactive activities. An individualized plan will be developed once meeting with the student and identifying their needs. No prior knowledge or experience is required to participate in this class and all are welcome. 

Each coaching session will introduce a new coping strategy. A few examples of strategies taught include: deep breathing, guided relaxation, muscle relaxation, visualization, expressive art, and movement.
