Your child will receive personalized, focused instruction tailored to their specific needs. We will work on key reading skills such as comprehension, vocabulary, inferencing, and identifying main ideas, all aligned with the STAAR objectives. Each session is customized to your child’s pace.

Lessons will include activities like guided reading, personalized feedback, and targeted STAAR practice to build test-taking skills. Since this is a 1-on-1 tutorial, your child will have my full attention and plenty of opportunities to ask questions, review tricky concepts, and focus on areas where they need the most support.

-Fiction/Nonfiction passages
-Best strategies to understand passage
-Elimination of answer choices

The class structure includes reading a passage together, discussing it, and answering questions. We’ll also use graphic organizers to help organize information and practice writing responses. My teaching style is interactive, using slides, fun activities, and discussions to keep students engaged. Your child will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and participate in each lesson.
