Average rating:4.9Number of reviews:(16)
Design yourself as a cartoon style Jedi character. Challenge yourself to build your Jedi art skills. Join Jedi Master Zia in this directed drawing beginner art class.

Class experience

•	Challenge yourself to build your Jedi art skills
•	Learn from your mistakes
•	Be persistent
•	Be creative
•	Build community with other kids your age
•	Laugh and have fun!
Cartooning from a young age, Master Jedi Zia has always loved to doodle and draw as a way to visualize the world around her! She enjoys integrating Art into her 1st grade public school classroom and homeschooling projects with her own family.
•	Pencil with a good eraser
•	Colored Pencils
•	5 Sheets of White Paper
•	Black Sharpie
•	Small Mirror or Photo of Yourself
•	Thin Highlighter Pen
(for your favorite light saber color) **

**No red highlighters…We are Jedi, not Sith! We’re the good guys, not the bad guys!
The most common Jedi light saber colors are BLUE or GREEN.
The character Mace Windu was also famous for his purple light saber.
Pick a bright color that fits your Jedi personality!**

Optional:
•	Scissors
•	Glue stick
•	Construction Paper

•	Remind your child ahead of class that we learn from our mistakes!
        Challenges help you become stronger.

•	Often, kids get discouraged when they make a mistake in art. Knowing where to start on a blank paper or having line in the
wrong place can seem overwhelming. Some kids feel the urge to crumple up their artwork and give up! This course asks for at
least 5 pieces of paper so kids can practice their pencil sketches before committing to the final drawing.

•	Encourage your child to speak up if they are confused! This is a live, interactive class that can adjust to the pace of the specific
group. Jedi Master Zia will give support and clarification as needed.

*Safety: If your child chooses to cut out the drawing and glue onto construction paper after class, parents please help support the safe use of scissors. Thank you for encouraging your budding artist!
