Class Experience

Teacher will introduce students to the idea of skip-counting and it's many uses in the world of math. Students will learn and gain an understanding of how to skip count with numbers 2-10.  Students will also learn how to solve basic multiplication problems mentally through the use of skip-counting. Each class will begin with a brief "talk and share" about skip-counting (what is skip-counting? can you skip-count? do you like to skip-count? when do you use skip-counting? etc.) Teacher will play...

Students will learn how to skip-count and gain or improve their fluency in adding multiple numbers as well as solving basic multiplication problems.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
