Hallo und Guten Tag!

My name is Sandra Miller and I am a native German speaker. Germany has 16 “states”, in German: Bundesländer. The one I come from is Sachsen, which is known in English as Saxony. I am proud to call the capital Dresden my German home. Look it up, if you’d like - it is world-known for its art, history and beauty.

After graduating from the University of Heidelberg with a Master's in Interpretation for German / Russian / Italian, I emigrated to the US in 1999 to marry my husband of 24 years. Together we have 3 daughters between the ages of 13-21.

Before my employment as a language teacher, I volunteered for several years in various children's programs such as "Kids Hope USA". I also honed my artistic skills as a face painter.

I started working as a teacher at a private German language school in 2017 and have been teaching classes there ever since. In addition, I have been teaching private online lessons for German, Italian and Russian over the course of the past 6 years.
