1-1 Spelling Workshop (Elementary)

Is your child struggling with spelling? This course is designed to help students strengthen their spelling skills through personalized instruction. By analyzing a recent writing sample, I can identify specific spelling patterns and words your child may find challenging (depending on the sample, I may need to adminster an additional assessment to collect sufficient data for instruction).

From there, I’ll create targeted lessons that focus on key areas for growth, helping your child build the skills and confidence needed to become a more proficient speller.

My approach to instruction builds upon where students are currently at.  Learning phonics and various spelling rules is a great starting point.  Additionally, I will help students tap into other strategies that can help them grow into effective spellers.
