I have many years experience working as an educator. Last Summer and Fall, I did my coursework towards my certification in Special Education; the courses included topics such as SEL and social equity. I'm presently taking further courses at National University in SEL as professional development. Two years ago, I was invited to take a professional development course called Teaching Artist Lab sponsored in part by the NEA, which focused on social equity.
