This class will focus on learning any English skills that you'd like your learner to acquire.  I will adjust the lessons to the learner's level and use visual aids if necessary.  For example if I am teaching nouns like fruit I will use pictures of fruit along with the words to assist the learner.

Beginners will expand on their basic knowledge of letter sounds (A-Z) and learn basic vocabulary as well as how to use the words in simple questions and answers.  For example, "How old are you?" - "I'm nine years old."

Intermediate learners will learn learn more advanced English vocabulary and how to speak in complete sentences if they don't already.

Advanced learners can choose a topic if they wish and we can focus on more advanced uses of English such as questions like "Why do you think...?".

I can decide on a topic or you and your learner can tell me what topic or topics you would like to talk about.  These may include food, favorite activities, favorite items, current events, countries, people, or animals to name just a few.  Please let me know before class if there is one that interests you!  Learners will be given lots of opportunity to speak English in this class.
