Hi there! I am an experienced educator with over 17 years of teaching experience and am a certified English Language Arts (ELA) teacher / tutor.

In my 1 on 1 private tutoring sessions I will work with your learner to customize my lessons to your learners interests to help them want to truly engage in what they are learning. This kind of tutoring session can be great for reluctant readers and writers who need a bit of pursuassion to read and write.

All lessons will be customized to the individual learners needs, however in general kids will have the opportunity to improve:
- Reading Comprehension and Fluency
- Text Dependent Writing
- Grammar and Sentence Structure
- Vocabulary Acquisition
- Personal Enjoyment of Reading
