In these 1-1 tutoring sessions, I will work with your student wherever their specific needs are. If they are learning Latin outside of my sessions, we will base our work off their materials and assignments at school; focusing on homework and preparing them for classwork as well as assessments. If they have never learned Latin before we will start with basic reading, grammar, and vocabulary and build on that. I focus my teaching on reading and translating, so we will not be speaking in Latin, but we will do a lot of reading out loud to practice pronunciation. I work with all of my students to develop sustainable and effective study patterns, and to build confidence in the language that they are learning!
