Description
Class Experience
I began developing my own curriculum to teach my children way back in 2002. That first lapbook unit study turned into hundreds more and took me all over the country speaking to parents about the benefits of hands-on learning. My kids have since graduated and while the curriculum is still for sale at In the Hands of a Child, I wanted to bring it live to Outschool so students with parents who don't have the time to plan lapbooks can still benefit from them.
Supplies: - Access to a printer - Copy paper (white or color) - Binder and 3 hold punch - Pencil and Eraser - Adhesive of choice (I prefer double sided tape, but glue sticks or similar work as well) as students will print photos and create room boards
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be using the In the Hands of a Child Lapbook as our base of study which is the curriculum company I started in 2002.
