Outschool now accepts teachers based in Australia and New Zealand
Over one thousand teachers use Outschool to teach online classes to students around the world, but until now our platform has only supported teachers based in the US or Canada. Meanwhile, our community of families and learners is spread around the world. In fact, half the learners on Outschool are in a class with a learner from another country. We have heard from many teachers based around the world who would like to teach on Outschool.
As we extend to support teachers in other countries, our priority is providing a high quality, safe, and trusted learning community. All of our teachers are screened for quality and pass a criminal background check.
Based on the global impact of the novel coronavirus on school closures, we have accelerated our plans to support teachers in more countries. As of today, we can bring on teachers in Australia and New Zealand. We are exploring support for other countries as well.
