This fun Animal Science course will cover why various animals (mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, insects, etc...) fart, and why others do not! Did you know that there is an actual DEADLY fart in the world? There is a creature who farts on their prey to knock it out so they can eat it! WOW! Other creatures will literally BURST and die because they can't fart at all! Everyone loves a great game of Kahoot! Following class, I will post a Kahoot! quiz to give your child an opportunity to test their new knowledge! Learners will be engaged throughout class via discussion and will be given opportunities to share their thoughts and guesses on which animals may or may not fart, and the reasons why. I believe in eliciting as much student output as possible, and allow plenty of time for questions and discussion. Have a wonderful day, Mrs. Marie:)

Master's Degree from University of Prince Edward Island
Do you have an animal lover in your life? Or perhaps a future zoologist, veterinarian, or conservation minded young learner? Then you've come to the right spot!
My name is Marie, and as an Animal Science teacher, I would love to teach your child all about the amazing animals in this world!
I have taught over 20,000 students on Outschool, and I have 18 years of experience teaching at all levels.
I believe in eliciting as much student output as possible. Learners are encouraged to ask questions (and to share knowledge on each topic) as we learn together.
When I am not playing an instrument, I enjoy watching every nature show in existence alongside my children, learning as much as I can about the weird animals in the world so that I can bring it to the classroom and share it with your child!
I look forward to meeting your learner in class!
Ms. Marie
